Guenoc Petite Sirah 2018 'Smooth, robust red for wintry sipping'
Guenoc Petite Sirah 2018
In 1888, in the picturesque Guenoc Valley, 60 miles north of San Fransisco, the actress Lily Langtry bought a wine estate. It survives to this day and here is a wine from the Langtry estate. Today the grapes are sourced from across California and blended by winemaker Eric Stine. Here's a gutsy red, with a hint of blueberry, rhubarb and vanilla, smooth on the palate with a hint of burnt toffee, it's a robust partner for some serious food. Cook a stew to make a virtue of it, or a big fat, hot curry. It's a crowd-pleaser and I love it! Alc 13.5%. Screwcap
